Dance with Parkinson's Classes expand to include MS

Thursday 26th September 2019

Due to the success of the Winchcombe class, Sarah Hartley has now been awarded funding to expand her programme of Dance with Parkinson's classes. They are also now open to those living with MS too.

From September three weekly classeses will take place: Monday mornings in Lower Oddington, near Moreton in Marsh with Winchcombe in the afternoon and Tewkesbury on Tuesday afternoons. See the timetable for full details.

All classes are run by our trained BeSocial&theCentre Community Dance Lead, Sarah Hartley and follow the same format as the Winchcombe class.

The sessions are mainly seated and people can go at their own pace. There's 15/20 minutes of standing/travelling work, which is also adapted for those who wish to stay seated.

The classes cover a range of dance styles and the most important thing is to enjoy it!

There's also refreshments at the end with the opportunity to meet and chat to other participants.

If you'd like to know more you can contact Sarah Hartley on 01242 603207 or dance@besocialwinchcombe.com
