Thursdays meeting at 10.30am outside The Plaisterer's Arms. (Free to join!)
Walking is free and one of the easiest ways to get active. And walking in a group can be a great way to meet new people. Whether you are new to the area or just need to get out a bit more, why not come along and join this friendly Walking for Health group in Winchcombe? There is no cost! Meeting every Thursday at 10.30am, come rain or shine - just make sure you are dressed for the weather with comfortable shoes. Lasting approx. 50 mins to an hour, this is a gentle walk around Winchcombe, avoiding stiles. With trained leaders and back markers, you will be well looked after, whatever your fitness level. This group walk could be an ideal way to get back into exercising after an illness or operation or if you just need to do a little more exercise. And, in case you need any more motivation, the group also has a social side and often finishes the session with light refreshments at a local hostelry!
