Whether you’d like to try gentle exercise, walking rugby or football, a social lunch, Mindful Relaxation, art, or learn something completely different – BeSocial@GL54 is the place to start.

Many of our courses are based at our centre in Langley Road, Winchcombe, which provides warm and friendly surroundings. Our tutors really know their stuff – so know how to get the best of out of their students.

BeSocial helps the community keep active! 

More classes are joining BeSocial, thanks to the support we receive from the Commissioner's Fund. This helps us continue the work we are doing helping the community to get active and socialise. Watch this space for more news!

* No Lunch Date in March and April as Lent Lunch is running instead. Returns on Weds 1st May.

* New classes 

Knit and Natter - 10-12 at Winchcombe Library on Fridays. (Term-time only) Come along and get inspired, help create woollies for those in need, pick up tips and make new friends!

Dance with Parkinson's - new class starting in a new location. From Wednesday 3rd April, Sarah will be running a monthly session in Broadwell, near Moreton in Marsh. See gallery for more details. 

Moving Well - a seated exercise class that will help improve mobility, balance and flexibility. Just £2 per session - but why not try a free taster class first? The class is followed by refreshments, so is a good opportunity to catch up with friends, old and new. (NB class runs term-time only)

* Monthly Tea Dance 

Next session is on Weds April 24th. All the ballrooom favourites and a great selection of music introduced by Ann Chen.

Dance with Parkinson's with Sarah Hartley, Mondays (term-time only), 2pm - 3.30 pm. £5 per session. Ideal for those living with the disease; an energising session with exercises specifically designed to help alleviate symptoms. Try a taster class for free - and a friend or carer can come along for a suggested contribution of £1 to help cover costs.

Walking for Health runs weekly (gentle) walks around Winchcombe. Meet outside the Plaisterer's Arms at 10.30am. Walks last approx. 50 mins to an hour with a refreshment stop afterwards!
