Coming soon....

Want to know more about BeSocial?

Come along to our Drop-In@BeSocial 2pm - 3pm on Tuesday 19th February. Take part in a taster music and movement session, meet the tutors and those that attend the classes over refreshments. Hope to see you there!

Great news!

More classes are joining BeSocial, thanks to the support we receive from the Commissioner's Fund. This helps us continue the work we are doing helping the community to get active and socialise. Watch this space for more news!

* New classes

Dance with Parkinson's - new class starting in a new location. From Wednesday 6th March, Sarah will be running a monthly session in Moreton in Marsh. See gallery for more details.

Moving Well - a seated exercise class that will help improve mobility, balance and flexibility. Just £2 per session - but why not try a free taster class first? The class is followed by refreshments, so is a good opportunity to catch up with friends, old and new. (NB no class 19th February as its half term - but you can come to the Drop-In instead!)

Yoga - new course starts on Tues 8th Jan at 7.15pm. Email for more info or call 07745 018919.

* New format Tea Dance for 2019

We've had great feedback from our new style tea dance with compere Ann Chen. Come along on February 27th to see what it's all about. All the ballrooom favourites and a great selection of music.

* Drop-in @ BeSocial - Tuesday 19th February 2-3pm

As some of our classes run only term-time, we are trialing a new event to fill the gap. Sarah Hartley will run a taster music and movement session followed by refreshments. Come and meet the people who run the courses, those that attend - and check out the venue if you have not been before! Nick Puffett from the Medical Centre will also be coming along so can answer any health or exercise related questions you may have.

Not sure what to try?
Click on the following link and find out why you should sign up to our Move it or Lose it class!

Dance with Parkinson's with Sarah Hartley, Mondays (term-time only), 2pm - 3.30 pm. £5 per session. Ideal for those living with the disease; an energising session with exercises specifically designed to help alleviate symptoms. Try a taster class for free - and a friend or carer can come along for a suggested contribution of £1 to help cover costs.

Walking for Health runs weekly (gentle) walks around Winchcombe. Meet outside the Plaisterer's Arms at 10.30am. Walks last approx. 50 mins to an hour with a refreshment stop afterwards!
